- A ThermalRate™ Sensor mounted at the height of the line. The Sensor includes the conductor replica.
- A ThermalRate™ Controller mounted near ground level. The Controller includes the microprocessor and radio.
- An antenna for communication back to SCADA.
- A solar/battery power supply for installations where AC power is not available.
A radio and antenna are installed at the substation so that the substation RTU can query the
TRM in standard DNP3 format. Non-licensed spread-spectrum communication is used. Protocol
converters are available.
